GET A REAL ID COMPLIANT DRIVER'S LICENSE OR STATE ID IN MINUTES HERE AT ABC TITLE
REAL ID enforcement is now in effect for domestic air travel and access to certain federal facilities. If your Louisiana driver’s license or state ID is not REAL ID-compliant, you may need another acceptable form of identification, such as a valid passport, to board a commercial flight or enter certain federal buildings.
ABC Title is authorized to issue REAL ID-compliant Louisiana driver’s licenses and state ID cards. We can upgrade your current Louisiana driver’s license, learner’s permit, or state ID to a REAL ID-compliant credential quickly and conveniently.
For most applicants, upgrading to REAL ID requires:
- One primary document, such as an unexpired U.S. passport or original/certified birth certificate
- Verification of your Social Security number
- Two printed proofs of Louisiana residency showing your full name and current address
All documents must be original or certified copies and must be provided in paper form so they can be scanned and submitted to the state. Digital copies cannot be accepted.
If your name has changed and your primary document shows a previous name, bring certified documentation connecting your current name to the name on your identity document, such as a marriage license, divorce decree, or court order.

1) REAL ID COMPLIANT DRIVER’S LICENSE
ABC Title can upgrade your current Louisiana driver’s license to a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license. A REAL ID-compliant license can be used for domestic air travel, access to certain federal facilities, and other official federal purposes where compliant identification is required.
Bring one primary identity document, verification of your Social Security number, and two printed proofs of residency with your full name and Louisiana address.
2) REAL ID COMPLIANT LOUISIANA STATE ID CARD
ABC Title can also upgrade your current Louisiana state ID to a REAL ID-compliant state ID card. The documentation requirements are generally the same as those for a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license.
Please note: if you have both a Louisiana driver’s license and a Louisiana state ID, they cannot both be REAL ID-compliant.
